2 down, 2 to go....48 hours remaining.

I have two of my finals done for this semester. I have one tomorrow morning and then one on Thursday.
48 hours from now, I'll be on the road to Texas. I am so excited!
I haven't been sleeping really well lately. So, that means headaches and exhaustion. Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and curling up in front of the fire with a big blanket!
I can't wait to see my family either.
4 people have asked me where my coat was today. I tried not to be rude, but it is 45 degrees out. It's not freezing. I love this weather, apparently some people don't :)
This morning I babysat sweet Audree, had a group presentation and registered for next semester. Now I'm off to study for tomorrow's final.
Have a great rest of the week friends!

Motivation

Wow, it's been a while since I've blogged. This semester was really busy and I feel like it went by so quickly.
Yesterday I finished my last day of class for the semester. This weekend consists of writing 16 essays to turn in with my finals and studying, studying, studying. I have 4 finals that I really don't feel prepared for right now. Sigh.
Thursday at 12, I will be headed home. I cannot wait to get out of the dorm for nearly a month!
I miss my family, and my bed, and actually eating real food!
Christmas shopping needs to be started for me. I haven't gotten anyone anything!
I have SO much to do this week and I am lacking the get-up-and-go to get it all done. My to-do list is just too large for me to get motivated for it all to get done! I'm off start narrowing down my list! Have a great week friends!

Wisconsin

This has been going around on Facebook. I think it is cute and I wanted to share!

Wisconsin, according to Jeff Foxworthy:
If your local Dairy Queen is closed from September through May, you may live in Wisconsin. If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they don't even work there, you may live in Wisconsin. If you've worn shorts and a jacket at the same time, you may live in Wisconsin. If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with some...one who dialed a wrong number, you may live in Wisconsin. If "vacation" means going anywhere North of Milwaukee for the weekend, you may live in Wisconsin. If you measure distance in hours, you may live in Wisconsin. If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you may live in Wisconsin. If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C' in the same day and back again, you may live in Wisconsin. If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you may live in Wisconsin. If you install security lights on your house and garage, but leave both doors unlocked, you may live in Wisconsin. If you carry jumpers in your car and your wife knows how to use them, you may live in Wisconsin. If you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you may live in Wisconsin. If the speed limit on the highway is 70 mph, you're going 80 and everybody is passing you, you may live in Wisconsin. If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow, you may live in Wisconsin. If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction, you may live in Wisconsin. If you have more miles on your snow blower than your car, you may live in Wisconsin. If you find 10 degrees "a little chilly", you may live in Wisconsin. If you actually understand these jokes, repost this so all of your Wisconsin friends and others can see, you definitely do live - or have lived - in Wisconsin.

twenty

no more teens. I am now in my "twenties."

honestly, it feels kind of strange, but not that much different. not yet anyways.

today has been good. I am blessed. I got so many sweet calls, texts, and Facebook messages from friends and family. it made celebrating my birthday here on campus not that bad. it was hard to be away from my family but having FaceTime helped a lot :-)

i really need to go study. i have two tests left this week and they are big ones. prayers appreciated!

Nope.

I found this picture on Pinterest. I seriously laughed until I cried. Twice.

I just think it is so funny! Maybe I am just crazy, or delirious!

I survived...

the biggest earthquake in Oklahoma's history.

Last night about 10:30, I was laying in bed when my bed started shaking, my iHome fell over on my nightstand, and my closet door closed on it's own. I didn't know what to do! It was certainly very freaky. The earthquake lasted about 30 seconds, but today at church many people said they thought it lasted up to a minute.

This was a 5.6 magnitude earthquake that certainly put my life into perspective. I realized how small I really am. While it was frightening, I am so thankful that God protected me!

Windy City

I'm sitting here, cross-legged, in a booth at Panera. I have my books, notes, and computer sprawled out in front of me and I'm looking periodically out the window. I think that Oklahoma City, or Bethany, should be renamed the windy city. Trees, that are pretty small, and nearly laying sideways near where my car is parked. It looks cold out there, but it really isn't... the wind just makes it seem that way.

Bethany had another earthquake early this morning. I guess it was at 2:30am. I didn't feel it because I was sleeping...deeply for once! My roommate had tried to call me about 12:30 and I never heard my phone. I was exhausted and finally slept good for once!

I'm sitting at Panera, because I have a test in 10 days--and another some time around then.

A test on my birthday....with one of the toughest professors....fun.times.

Panera has been my "get-a-way" spot here in OKC. I have those times when I just need to get out of the dorm and look at some different scenery. Panera has the perfect blend of people watching, soft music, comfy booths, sweet tea with lemon, and free Internet. Having the big table to spread all of my lovely materials all over is just an added bonus.

So, I will sit here and continue to read chapter after chapter about sociology....

Then it's on to the next study guide.

Have a wonderful Saturday!

These next few weeks.

These next few weeks are going to be busy, busy. busy.

I have a presentation next week, 2 papers, quizzes, tests, and assignments.

I haven't been able to turn my mind off lately at night. That means I haven't been sleeping good....or enough. I wish I had my father's disease where I could fall asleep the minute my head hit the pillow, but I find myself thinking of the most random things for the longest time. It's glorious...not.

I think it's the gloomy weather too, but i've been pretty tired!

I am missing my comfortable bed!!

Well, I am off to type a paper!

Fall Break

was fantastic.

Seriously. I needed to get away for a bit!

I had such a fun and relaxing time; I got to see some framily, be home for my momma's birthday, play on my daddy's tractor, babysit, go to my home church, and hang out with the best family ever.

I have come to the conclusion that I am beyond blessed.

The only thing I forgot at home was my straightener; i'd say that's pretty good :-)

I am ready for another week of classes, assignments, projects and homework.

Thanksgiving break? only 29 days away! Let the countdown begin!!
