Christian College

One of the best things about being in a Christian College is having a professor pray for a great semester over the class.  It is so neat to see and hear.  One other cool thing was this prayer she read to us.  I am going to share it, because I thought it was neat for her to think of doing this! (this was in my speech class-last class of the day)

Colossians 1:9-12 (New International Version)

9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[a] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

I'm praying for a good semester, even if this afternoon wasn't so great.

Loved what your friend Geoffrey posted on his wall today(yes, I went to his wall) It was totally fitting for you, today, wasn't it? It is great to have Christian friends and Christian Professors to help us through the rough times. "This too shall pass" Hang in there. I love you. Mom
