So, what's up?
It's been a while. I say that a lot.
I had an amazing fall break. It was really hard to come back here. But here I am. I'm already counting the days to Thanksgiving break. So relaxing to go home, eat real food, sleep in my bed, and be with my family. and shower in my own shower. I miss home!
While I was home, I bit the bullet and bought the iPhone 4. My old phone was giving me fits and I was able to sell the old one, so I decided to make a trip to the Apple Store. I really have enjoyed it. I love to Face Time with my sister! It is so neat to see her at anytime! It's like Skype on my phone. Nifty.
I've just been working on homework and finishing up my teacher observation. I am almost finished with the observation part! I go back to the school on Friday afternoon and then Tuesday morning and I think I'll be done. I have 9 hours and 15 minutes already done... just have to get to 12. I think it will be nice to get that behind me. I've enjoyed being in a classroom and actually interacting with students and seeing how a school day (or part of it) flows, but it will be a good feeling knowing that is completed!
I'm in the basement doing laundry now. It's exciting. Jennah and I went to Aldi to buy avocados today. For 49 cents, we couldn't resist. Avocados' sounded delicious. So, we ate some and then decided to come wash a few clothes. It is better if you don't let them pile up and then carry an overflowing basket down a million stairs to make multiple trips back up the million stairs.
My camera battery is dead. I really miss taking pictures. I got my camera out a few days ago to take pictures and my charger and extra battery was no where to be found. I literally took my whole dorm room apart. Took all the drawers out of the nightstand, everything out of boxes, looked under the bed.....they weren't anywhere! I know that at the beginning of the school year, I placed them in a quart bag so they wouldn't be separated. I called my mom and she and my sister found them both in my drawer at home. I don't quite understand. But I am so thankful that they found them so I didn't have to buy new ones. They are the sweetest and are shipping them to me. Thanks guys!
Last night we had a bacon party in the end room. My gramma sent me back to school with a pound of maple bacon. So, we decided to cook it up. It is very relaxing to eat bacon and chat. Don't judge me :) I shared with Jennah and Jen. It was good night! Check it out!
Off to work on homework while my laundry is drying.
