until open dorm is finally over with. It seems like it has gone on for hours tonight!
I had a fabulous time with my family this weekend. I wasn't feeling the greatest, but I was so excited to see them. My mom (and Kathleen) made some yummy fudge, and butterscotch bars. They also threw in my all time favorite: sweet crispex! It was delightful to get some homemade edible snacks.
It was really hard to watch my family pull away from SNU this afternoon. I wanted to run behind the van and go home with them. But, I decided to be a 'big girl' and be mature and trudge up the 5632 stairs up to the 5th floor of Hatley.
I am so blessed and thankful that they came up this weekend. It was nice to check out of the dorm and stay with them. We had a lot of fun and even got matching sweatshirts!
Tonight, I took nyquil and was able to get my homework done early. I wanted to be in bed at 9:30, but some girls seriously ran up and down the hallways screaming for like 30 minutes. It was a tad obnoxious. My new goal is to be asleep by 10:15! :) haha...
Well, open dorm should finally be finished. Hopefully

Hoping and praying you feel better soon. I KNOW you want to be in your own bed at home when you are sick! It was a great weekend---I should have taken nyquil for the ride home, I guess! :-) Dad would have liked that around Waco! See you again in 2 weeks and 2 days!
